Strategic Partner Recognition Across 30+ Holiday Campaigns

📌 Context: Feeding America’s holiday season is marked by over 30 active corporate partner campaigns — from in-store fundraisers to digital activations. Each campaign presents a unique opportunity to spotlight generosity, amplify impact, and thank partners publicly. My role was to lead the planning, messaging, and execution of recognition efforts across all campaigns — ensuring each brand received thoughtful, on-brand visibility while aligning with internal strategy, partner guidelines, and legal standards.

🧠 My Role:

  • Developed and executed a recognition plan to feature 30+ corporate partners across multiple platforms during the holiday season (social, web, press, email)

  • Wrote and edited partner-facing copy tailored for different campaign types (e.g., round-up at register, donation match, holiday products)

  • Collaborated with Feeding America’s social, media, web, and development teams to align messaging cadence and avoid overlaps or duplication

  • Navigated UBIT compliance by crafting awareness-first messaging that informed the public about giving opportunities without direct solicitation

  • Served as the central point of contact for campaign tracking, message approvals, and cross-departmental coordination

Multi-Faceted Communications for a Multi-Year, Multi-Stakeholder Partnership

  • 📌 Context: Elevance Health Foundation is one of Feeding America’s leading Visionary partners and a key player in advancing the Food as Medicine movement across the network. 2024-2025 saw major milestones for the partnership — a national Food as Medicine summit, a 21-food-bank convening, and the release of multiple Food as Medicine reports. My role has been to shape, guide, and implement a cohesive communications strategy that ensures Elevance receives meaningful, mission-aligned recognition across moments big and small.

🧠 My Role: 

  • Served as a day-to-day communications lead, proactively collaborating with internal teams and Elevance’s relationship manager to align on strategy, messaging, and deliverables

  • Developed and executed partner recognition across key tentpole moments, including Hunger Action Month and Food is Medicine Day

  • Regularly advised on new storytelling and recognition opportunities, while maintaining clear communication channels with food banks, partners, and internal stakeholders

  • Led the development of communications plans and creative assets (toolkits, sample copy, customizable press releases) to support scalable, localized amplification across the network

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partnered with colleagues in Research & Innovation, Marketing, and Development to ensure comms efforts reflected shared goals and audience needs

  • Actively contributed to internal and external partner meetings, applying feedback in real-time and helping translate vision into action

  • Delivered thoughtful, agile communications that met the moment — whether months in the making or turned around in less than a day

  • Strengthened trust and visibility across Feeding America, Elevance, and 21 partner food banks

100 Million Meals with Hy-Vee: A Multi-Year Campaign of Community Impact

📰 Campaign Overview & Timeline

  • Launched March 1, 2023, and spanned 20 months, wrapping up in early 2025

  • Raised 102 million meals via a mix of register round‑ups, supplier donations, and food rescue programs

  • Partnered with 18–19 food banks across Hy‑Vee’s eight/nine‑state region and more than 50 national suppliers (e.g. General Mills, Smithfield, Hormel)

🧠 My Role: 

  • Supported recognition across multiple milestones, including Hunger Action Month, Giving Tuesday, and the campaign finale

  • Helped boost Hy-Vee’s visibility as a mission-aligned corporate leader through thoughtful, customized communications

🏁 Multi‑Channel Activations

  • Customer engagement via in-store rounding up

  • Promotions linked to Hy‑Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend in July 2023 at Iowa Speedway to amplify visibility

  • Shared impact through social media, press releases, partner toolkits, and internal communications.
