WORK SAMPLES
My time at Hey Nonny was extremely rewarding, full of learning opportunities, and unpredictable in the best way.
Each day presented new challenges and allowed me to flex my creative thinking muscle to solve problems and develop the Hey Nonny brand.
Responsibilities Included:
Social Media
I was responsible for strategizing, designing, writing copy for, and scheduling the restaurant's regular social posts.

In addition to this task, I also took it upon myself to implement new features offered by certain platforms to keep the social presence updated and easily digestable.
Digital Promotions
Alongside the Promotions Manager, it was my duty to build out all upcoming shows on the company's website and promote them via social media, email, and paid ads.
This included researching each band, locating their marketing materials, and utilizing them to ensure each show was promoted accurately and extensively.
Event Promotion
Each event at Hey Nonny required a great deal of strategy, research, brainstorming, and both digital and traditional marketing techniques to get the word out.

I would work alongside the restaurant owners, Chefs, workers, and general manager to properly strategize, design, and distribute marketing techniques for each event.
Organization
During my time at Hey Nonny, I started as a server and went on to be trained as a busser, a host, a bartender, and eventually took on the Marketing Coordinator role.

This experience gave me ample opportunities to notice where tweaks to the system could be made and offer up my knowledge and time to implement those changes.

The COVID-19 pandemic called for an immediate push for the restaurant's carry-out and delivery options.
This music-themed campaign idea was developed into a variety of massive posters that were displayed in the restaurant's windows.
This holiday songbook was the result of a project that was estimated to take over a week to develop at over $1000.
However, I managed to design, format, and print the final product in 3 days for under $40.
